Music School Pavla Markovca organised 25th International Competition YOUNG VIRTUOSO, ZAGREB 2019 violin which was held from 13. until 17. of February 2019. for violin players. 57 competitors applied from Croatia and 11 countries (Austria, Japan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine).

The Competition, as well as the Final Concert, were held at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, Trg Republike Hrvatske 12 . The prizes to the competitors by categories have been handed by the president of the jury Vinko Fabris. while the special Yamaha/Euro-Unit prizes have been handed by Lajos Földesi.

This year Yamaha and Euro-Unit once again supported this international competition. Such competitions are a reflection of the long-standing passion for music education and support of young musicians.
