The best Croatian amateur wind orchestras played in Novi Vinodolski
Last weekend, in Novi Vinodolski, 31. Days of Croatian wind orchestras was held. It is a central manifestation of amateur wind orchestras in Croatia with more than 500 musicians from 13 most successful orchestral atendind the manifestation in Novi Vinodolski and gathering on the city squares in Novi Vinodolski, Selce and Crikvenica.
The expert jury composed by Robert Homen, Vanja Lisjak and Miro Saja decided on awards for the best orchestras. In the A category, Silver award was won by to the Gradski puhački orkestar Hrvatskih željeznica Varaždin and Gradski puhački orkestar Križevci. In the C category, Golden award with a special praise was won by Gradska limena glazba Petrinja. The Golden awards were won by the Puhački orkestar DVD-a Đurđevac and Gradski puhački orkestar Krapina. The winners of the Silver awards are the Puhački orkestar DVD-a Kašina, Hrvatsko glazbeno društvo „Zrinski“, Donja Kaštela, Gradska glazba Nova Gradiška and Puhački orkestar Čazma. Puhački orkestar Goričan, Puhački orkestar grada Ludbrega and Puhački orkestar DVD-a Petrovina were awarded with a bronze award, and Puhački orkestar DVD-a Ogulin with a special praise. 31. Days of Croatian wind orchestra was organized by the Croatian Cultural Council (Hrvatski sabor kulture), the most important organization of cultural-artistic amateurism in Croatia.
