It was the twelfth concert of the sixth season of the Osijek musical Wednesday.

Graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb and continued her specialization in Italy. Since 2007, she is an artistic associate at the Music Academy in Zagreb.

Dalibor Cikojević, belongs to prominent Croatian pianists, with frequent performances both in Croatia and abroad. He graduated in Vienna in the class of Oleg Maisenberg and studied instrumental pedagogy in the class of Carmen Graf Adnet. Osječka glazbena srijeda

The distinguished pianists began their performance with an educational introduction, short lecture on the work, and multimedia accompanying content. Dalibor Cikojević pointed out that the performance of this work was conceived as a project and that lot of time was invested into research.

“Horoscope” is a dance suite written for two pianos and percussion in a modernist style. Each of the paragraphs represents the characteristics of people in a particular horoscope sign. It is one of the few Papandopulos works in which there are no folklore elements.

Boris Papandopulo was born in the sign of the Pisces and just that horoscope sign marked the “musical journey through the starry sky” as the musicians called it. It was another great Osijek musical Wednesday performance, which was greatly received by numerous audiences. With its long-time partner, Yamaha, Euro-Unit has been supporting this event with Yamaha C7 piano. As always, support for such musical cultural events is very important to us.
