The 6th edition of the Piano Loop Festival was held in Split from 14th until 22nd of August 2019. The Ethnographic Museum in Split has hosted prominent domestic and foreign pianists, namely: Marijan Djuzel, Wonmi Kim, Sergey Korolev, Grieg Pianoduo, Andrey Gugnin, Andreas Frölich and Lovre Marusic, while the last two concerts the famous Ivo Pogorelic and Kemal Gekic were held on August 21st and 22nd at the Diocletian’s Palace.

The performance of the world-renowned pianist, maestro Ivo Pogorelic, who returned to Split after six years, attracted special attention of the audience. Undoubtedly it was one of the music events of the year. The audience was visibly delighted with Pogorelic’s performance and selection of compositions: Bach’s English Suite, Chopin’s Barcarolle and Prelude, and Ravel’s composition Gaspard de la nuit.

Piano Projekt as the organizer did an excellent job, just like every year so far. Euro-Unit has been once again the main music sponsor with the partner Yamaha Music Europe and two Yamaha concert pianos C7 and CFX have been given for the performances.
