Volim svirati synthesizer (I like to play the synthesizer), is the name of the international youth synthesizer competition, which will be held on Friday 16th of June 2017 in the small hall of Učiteljski fakultet u Čakovcu (Teacher’s Faculty in Cakovec). The organizer of the competition is SUITA – Playing and singing School, one of the most popular private institutions for education in cultural-music activities in Međimurje county and beyond. In its program, Suita offers a school for synthesizer, accordion, piano, guitar, bass, violin, drums, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet and solo singing. The lecturers are renowned professors who beside Suita School also teach in other music schools in Croatia, Slovenia and Austria.

The aim of the international I like to play synthesizer is to popularize the synthesizer, the love of music and the socializing of young musicians. Contestants are competing in 6 categories, classified according to the year of music education:

Category I ………. 1. level / first year of learning

Category II ……… 2. level / second year of learning

Category III …….. 3. level / third year of learning

Category IV ……… 4. level / fourth year of learning

Category V ………. 5. level / fifth year of learning and higher

Category VI ……… instrumental and vocal-instrumental bands with at least 2 synthesizers in the band
