In the organization of the international association Middle-European action – movement for cultural cooperation of Middle Europe and the sponsor of the prizes Yamaha, Lion Style and Euro-Unit the 7th international Middle-European festival of brass music in Split took place from 21st to 24th. April 2016. In the Festival participated totally 8 brass orchestras with about 605 participants from Austria,Germany, Poland and Croatia .

The festival had the competitive part and the obligatory parade – procession of the orchestras and common playing of three given compositions. In the competitive part on Saturday (23.04.) the orchestras competed in three categories, B, C and D.

The award enabled the companies Yamaha, Lion Style and Euro-Unit.

D Category

1st place with 92,4 points and achieved outstanding success wins  Panstwowej Szkoły Muzycznej Jastrzębie – Zdroj  (Poland) .

2nd place with 90,6  points and achieved outstanding success won by  Blasorchester, Jugendblasorchester Haag (Austria).

C Category

1st place with 85,8  points and achieved very good success wins  HGD  Mosor  Klis – Kosa (Croatia).

2nd place with 80,4  points and achieved very good success won by  Musikverein  Bad Füssing eV – Jugendblasorchester (Germany).

B Category

1st place with 92,6 points and achieved outstanding success wins  Gradska Glazba „Zvonimir“ Solin (Croatia).

2nd place with 85,2  points and achieved very good success won by  Blasorchester Marktmusikkapelle Taiskirchen (Austria).

3rd place with 84  points and achieved very good success won by  the AGH – UST Universita Orchestra (Poland) and the Eisenbahner Musikverein  Mürzzuschlag  (Austria)
