The city of Split will once again host many Croatian and foreign wind music orchestras at the 8th Mitteleuropa Blasmusikfest to be held from 20. to 23. of April 2017. The aim of the international festival from the very beginning is the popularization of wind music, mutual cooperation between the orchestras and raising the quality of amateur work in Croatia but also in the Central European region. The festival is of competitive nature and the orchestras will compete in five different categories (A, B, C for senior and D, E for youth categories) which differ in the level of difficulty. Euro-Unit developed collaboration with Blasmusikfest since its beginnings and that collaboration continues this year also. Together with our partners Canorus and Yamaha we have provided prizes for the best orchestras, Canorus TB1180 trombone and Yamaha YTR-2330 trumpet. For the purposes of the competition and festival, this year we also ensured our premium quality Yamaha digital PA system, so that the technical part of the organization will once again be on a high professional level.
