On Saturday, 20th of May 2017, Pula was once again a city of classical guitars. 5. Pula Guitar Fest gathered many young contestants from all over Croatia, but also the fans and admirers of classical guitar, who enjoyed the performances of young talented musicians. As the organizers had said at the end of the festival: Music had won once again and this time it was the guitar.

Head of Culture of the City of Pula, Mrs. Jasmina Nina Kamber presented the transition cup to Magdalena Banfić, the absolute winner of this year’s competition. Very positive response from listeners were given to performance by a student Dominik Carević in the class of outstanding and respected pedagogue Paolo Pegoraro. Okud Istra has proven itself once again as a top organizer of the festival and a wonderful host, while Euro-Unit was the general sponsor together with partners Ivan’s Guitar and Savarez.
