July every year is already a traditional gathering place in Grožnjan for students, music mentors, musicians and music lovers, all as part of the Summer Jazz School from 15th until 27th of July 2020. and this year’s mentors were: Luis Bonilla (US), Lela Kaplowitz (CRO), Dick Oatts (US), Joe Kaplowitz (CRO / US), Alex Sipiagin (RUS), Goran Rukavina (CRO) and Davor Dedić (CRO).

During the “Summer Jazz School”, the already well-known international Jazz Festival “Jazz is back! – BP 2020” was held from 14th until 27th of July where students (individually and in groups) have occasionally performed in the Festival program and had a unique opportunity to spend evenings listening to older professional colleagues.

21. “Jazz is Back! BP” festival started on July 14, 2020. It is no longer known only as the longest Croatian jazz festival, but also as the longest Croatian on-line jazz festival. The program started at 9.30 pm every evening from the 14th until 27th of July 2020. The concerts have been held without the audience in the Kaštel concert hall in Grožnjan with live streaming and technical support from Euro-Unit.

Successful cooperation between the company Euro-Unit and the organizers of the Summer School of Jazz and International Jazz Festival “Jazz is Back – BP” HGM (Croatian Musical Youth in Grožnjan) continued also this year. For many years, Euro-Unit has been the general music sponsor of the festival, and we are pleased that we have been contributing to the development of jazz music in this region through our longstanding support of this remarkable event. Euro-Unit was also responsible for the complete production of the festival, from PA, musical instruments, complete stage equipment and sound.
