As part of the 11th Festival of Classical Music entitled “Musica Appassionata” on the Fortress Barone in Sibenik, on Monday, 6th of August 2018, one of the most prominent and most successful Croatian pianists of the younger generation, Aljosa Jurinic performed a wonderful concert. It was his first performance in Šibenik and that’s why this event was of great interest.

He presented the works by C. Debussy (Reverie), L. van Beethoven (Sonata No. 13 in Es-Major, No. 27, No. 1), and F. Chopin (Twelfth Ether, op.25).

The Sibenik fortress, surrounded by beautiful nature together with the ultimate concert atmosphere and the performance of a young pianist, was additionally brought to a higher level by the instrument that was most suitable for such unique occasions, namely the Bösendorfer grand piano.
