Music Knows No Borders: An Erasmus+ Adventure and New Knowledge at EURO-UNIT
Music Knows No Borders: An Erasmus+ Adventure and New Knowledge at EURO-UNIT
In the world of business, knowledge is the most valuable currency, and when it is shared across borders, it creates stories that inspire. One such story continues at EURO-UNIT through our long-standing and successful collaboration with the Economic and Trade School Čakovec.
As proud partners of a school that holds accreditation for vocational education and training and implements the “European School Development Plan 2021–2027” we once again opened our doors to international exchange. As part of the Erasmus+ project, we hosted a student from the German city of Ingolstadt, and this year, the star of our internship program was Emma Gehrhardt.

A Journey Through All Business Segments
During her two-week stay, Emma wasn’t just an observer. She became an integral part of our team and gained a unique insight into the “heart” of EURO-UNIT. The internship program was designed to cover every key piece of our business mosaic:
– Sales to Service: Gaining experience in both retail and wholesale, as well as the technical precision of our service department.
– Logistics and IT: Understanding the operations behind our warehouse and the digital backbone of our webshop.
– Marketing and Management: An inside look at how a brand is built and how strategic decisions are made to keep the company at the top for over 35 years.

More Than Just Work: Corporate Social Responsibility in Action
At EURO-UNIT, we believe that success is only complete if we give back to the community. Our CEO Mr. Ivan Senčar, personally introduced Emma to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Through these discussions, our guest learned how we manage business processes to achieve a positive impact on society and the environment. Learning how a company takes responsibility in accordance with laws, regulations, and the interests of the community is an invaluable experience for any young professional just stepping into the business world.

Since Emma showed an exceptional interest in music—having attended music school herself where she played the piano and saxophone—we decided to brighten her future practice sessions even further. We sent her off with our popular Ivan’s UKE US-10 ukulele and a special Yamaha gift pack. We hope this cheerful instrument serves as a reminder of her days spent in Međimurje every time she plays her first chord.

Our collaboration with the Economic and Trade School Čakovec continues with great enthusiasm. We look forward to future generations of young professionals and the new international friendships built through the Erasmus+ project.
Because at EURO-UNIT, we don’t just sell instruments – we support the future of music and knowledge!
