Jazz is Back! BP 2021. with famous jazz names
Traditional Festival Jazz is Back! BP will be held in Grožnjan, from 14th until 27th of July 2021. It will be possible to follow the festival via live stream on the Youtube channel of the Municipality of Grožnjan and HGM.
The festival will open with a BP Evening concert featuring Primož Grašić, Mario Mavrin, Vid Jamnik and guests. Certainly, this concert evening, like all jazz events in Grožnjan, is a homage to Boško Petrović, one of the initiators of the festival. On July 15th, jazz fans will be thrilled by Grožnjan All stars: Luis Bonilla, Alex Sipiagin, Elvis Stanić, Karlheinz Miklin Jr., Lea Lovrenčić, Joe Kaplowitz and Goran Rukavina. Zoran Predin will perform on July 16th, and the evening after is reserved for Andreja, Rundeka and the Ftičeki team.
Zdenka Kovačiček will perform on July 20th, and the Kaplowitz jazz quartet on July 24th. The final concert evening of the Jazz is Back! BP is on July 27 and will be special because of the performance by the Croatian diva Josipa Lisac, and the night before the JM International Music School Finale with performance by the students and mentors of the Summer Jazz School. Certainly one of the names that attracts special attention this year is Nic Collins, an excellent drummer and the son of the famous Phil Collins, who played concerts with his father and also performs solo with his own band Better Strangers.
