Grožnjan Summer Jazz Academy 2014.

As in past years, and this year the Euro-Unit will contribute to this great and unique school of jazz. Many years of sponsoring of such events Euro-Unit wants on the best and most direct way to help young musicians in their education and advancement.

In Grožnjan will be traditionally from 17th to 31st of July  SUMMER JAZZ ACADEMY OF AN INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL “JAZZ IS BACK! – BP”. The program is presented in cooperation with the Austrian Cultural Forum Zagreb and JMI.

The main theme of this year’s Summer school of jazz in Groznjan festival will be playing in the Big Band and small ensembles (combo) , how function a good rhythm section , and how to improvise on a given theme and harmonic sequence .

During the summer jazz school is maintained International Jazz Festival “Jazz is back! – BP” where students (individually or in groups) occasionally appear in the Festival program, and have the unique opportunity to spend their evening in listening of their fellow professionals.

Good jazz music complements and enriches diversity, because trombone, trumpet players, violinists, flutists if you love jazz music and if you want to spend 15 days making good jazz;  See you in Grožnjan. Bass guitar players and guitar players should bring an amplifier. Drummers should bring minimal supplies (concert drum, chair, hi- hat).
