1st Yamaha Croatian Clarinet Day in Zagreb

In joint collaboration, Yamaha (EU) and EURO-UNIT present “1st Yamaha Croatian Clarinet Day”: 8th April 2026. 9.30-18.00 at Elly Bašić Music School, Vlaška street 87, Zagreb

Master Classes by Nicholas Cox 9.30-11.30 & 15.00-19.00 (Large Hall)

Nicholas Cox  is former Principal Liverpool Philharmonic, Professor Royal Northern College of Music Manchester, Yamaha Artist since 1991.

Lunchtime Recital: 13.00 -14.30 (Large Hall) Nicholas Cox, Emma Štern (clarinets) and Dario Sabol (piano) This concert will focus on the teaching music of Roger Purcell and feature the premiere performances of his Take Two Clarinets Books with accompaniments written by Nicholas Cox and other music.

Yamaha Clarinet Stand: 10.00-18.00 (Small Hall)

One of the first opportunities in Croatia to try Yamaha’s professional clarinet range (CSGH, CSVR, CX, Artists Model) and for students to try their immensely successful students models (YCL-250 and YCL-450) and professional model YCL-650. Accessories will also be available. It is important to note that all visitors, during the “1st Yamaha Croatian Clarinet Day” will be able to take advantage of special offers on the purchase of all exhibited instruments and equipment, with the possibility of individual selection of their chosen instrument.

Keisuke Tanaka, Head Technician from Yamaha’s Wind Atelier in Hamburg will be also available at the event.
