Summer Music Academy in Šibenik

From September 3 to 6, the historic city of Šibenik will once again become a meeting place for flutists and music lovers. As part of Summer Music Academy Šibenik – SMAŠ 2026, the masterclasses at the impressive St. John’s Fortress will be led by renowned flutists Jan Ostrý, Michel Moragues – Yamaha Artist, and Vicens Prats.

Keisuke Tanaka, Yamaha Flute Specialist from the Yamaha Wind Instrument Atelier in Hamburg, will present a selection of handmade and professional Yamaha flutes, piccolos and headjoints. Visitors will also have the opportunity to receive free instrument check-ups, minor repairs and professional advice. On September 5. and 6. Yamaha and EURO-UNIT will joing the exhibition of flutes. We will complement the exhibition with a selection of student-level instruments, offering young musicians and beginners the opportunity to explore suitable instruments for their musical journey.
