A look back at 6. Pula Guitar Fest

Full of impressions we are back from the 6. Pula Guitar Fest, held on May 19th in Pula. And this year the festival was attended by a large number of young and talented competitors from all over Croatia who competed in 7 categories and Masterclass. The success of the Pula Guitar Fest of classical guitars grows year after year, so this year there were 71 registered candidates in 7 categories. OKUD Istra as the organizer of the competition has fulfilled all expectations and confirmed that Croatia has young talents that are better from year to year.

Winners of this year’s 6th Pula Guitar Festival:

Category I: Dominik Arki (Križevci)

Category II: Lucija Vudrag (Trilj)

Category III: Stela Dermit (Labin)

Category IV. Corona (Postojna, Slovenia)

Category V: Oskar Marić (Koprivnica)

Category VI: Lana Stevanovski (Virovitica)

Baby Category: Jakov Škarica (Omiš)

At the closing ceremony of the festival with the concert of talented Luka Lovreković, prizes were given to the winners of the competition. Special attention was given to display of Ivan’s Guitars. The absolute winner and the winner of the transitional cup, and the sponsored classical Ivan’S guitar CG-100 NT and Ivan’S bag was Dominik Arki (Križevci). Jasmina Nina Kamber as a representative of the city of Pula cultural department awarded Dominik with the transitional cup, and Daniel Šterpin as a representative of the Euro-Unit company had a special price for the winner, classical Ivan’S guitar CG-100 NT. Other contestants received valuable awards from the sponsor Euro-Unit and its partners Ivan’S Guitar and Savarez
